The health and well-being of our customers are of the utmost importance to us here at Rubicon Roasting. We are adjusting our operations accordingly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Effective now through April 30, or longer as necessary, we are suspending our walk-in hours at the roastery.

While the physical layout of the roastery allows for some distance between employees and customers and we are continuously cleaning ever more with the COVID-19 pandemic occurring, we feel it is best practice to do our part in maintaining sufficient social distance to help prevent the spread of the disease.

We STILL have ways for you to purchase the coffee you love so much. For customers in the North Fork Valley, Rubicon coffees are available at Don’s Grocery store and Indigo Autumn health food store in Paonia. If you are located in the Cedaredge area you can purchase coffee at the Cedaredge Food Town.

We are still roasting coffee every week in order to keep the shelves of the above-mentioned retail establishments filled and we are filling online orders regularly. We are striving to keep coffee on the shelves so you shouldn’t have an empty shelf when you shop. For those of you that live outside the local area, remember that online shopping is still working and we do have all of the coffees we offer available here.

We have contacted all of our importers about our ability to continue to purchase more green beans as needed. So far, there have been only minor problems with shipping at times but the green bean supply is strong and available. Thank you ALL so much for your continued support of Rubicon Roasting. We want you all to be safe and healthy, wherever you are. Thanks for your understanding of these changes and please call or email for any questions or concerns you have about these changes.

Jay, Would you consider someone placing an order through your web page and indicating “for pick-up,” with a designated date an time. You could then place the order outside your door.

Hi Lionel, I’m sorry for the delay in responding to you on this comment. I’ve been making changes to allow for more use of the website ordering process. You’ll see the details in the next newsletter that will go out on Tuesday, March 31st. Please stay tuned as I think these changes will work for you. They will include free shipping.
